Next Level Chef will return for a second season, with mentors Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington, and Richard Bais. The culinary competition will include 18 famous chefs competing to create unique dishes and win the grand prize. Pilar Omega, who has previously prepared for the Emmys, Oscars, and NFL events, is one of the contestants scheduled to be featured in the program. Pilar Omega, CEO and chef of Soul Fusion, will be participating in Season 2 of Next Level Chef. She has nearly a decade of expertise in the professional kitchen and enjoys helping people eat better and live happier, more fulfilling lives.

In a 2021 interview with Voyage Los Angeles, the chef said that he has been interested in cooking since he was five years old and that food is a big part of his life. His family had many culinary traditions, and his father often made his favorite hot sauces. The Next Level Chef candidate said that she has always wanted to explore, prepare and taste different things and travel allows her to do that. During her undergraduate years, she often made health-related presentations at local fairs. This allowed him to give back to the community through food, and by 2011, he was 27 years old and had launched a farm-to-table deli in Redford, Michigan.

When he returned to Los Angeles the following year, he was motivated to become a part of the culinary industry there and find employment options that would allow him to make a name for himself. She was quickly hired at Home Girls Cafe and later completed her sushi apprenticeship at Sushi Row. His intensive training allowed him to work as a sushi chef at Benihana in Santa Monica.

He later worked as a sushi chef and “Grab n Go lead” at Wolfgang Puck Catering. While with the catering firm, he assisted in catering the Emmys, Oscars, Governor’s Ball, NFL events, Sony studios and other events. He quit the famous catering firm to work as a private chef. Before Covid, he worked as a full-time chef for some of the biggest names in music. He was able to work on his branding during the shutdown, and he eventually founded Soul Fusion, his own catering prep kitchen.

The Chef Next Level season 2 cast member spoke with Voyage Los Angeles about the challenges she has experienced in the culinary profession. She stated that, despite the fact that being a black woman in the sector was a challenge, she was able to carve her own path due to the lack of diversity in the food industry. He will now participate in Next Level Chef season 2 for a year of coaching with world-renowned chefs and a grand prize of $250,000.
