The 21st season of American Idol will begin on ABC on Sunday, February 19, at 8 pm ET.

In terms of auditions, he remembers when he arrived, there were probably 200 to 300 individuals in the holding area who were all singing. This made him reflect on how great the American Idol competition is and the talent it shows. He went on to say that while watching so many people was a great experience, “self-doubt” crept in. He went on to say:
“After I stopped listening to the voice in my head and got on the horse and started running with it, I started to feel happy in the process. That pushed me to audition for Nashville and give it my all.”
