Denise Richards has declared that she is not opposed to rejoining the cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” after her drama-tainted exit from the show in September 2020.
The revelation from the beloved actress comes more than a year after she and her husband, Aaron Phypers, escaped serious injury in a road rage incident.

During a recent interview, Richards shared that returning to “RHOBH” as a full-time Housewife wasn’t completely out of the blue. In his words, “I would definitely entertain the idea of going back full time. Definitely.”
Fans will recall that the television personality joined the long-running Bravo show for its ninth season in 2019 and left after its tenth season in 2020 amid separate conflicts with Lisa Rinna and Brandi Glanville. The latter claimed they had an extramarital affair.
Richards also had trouble with fellow Housewives who brought up the topic of threesomes at her family’s barbecue, where her children were present.
Years after her departure, Richards returned as a guest during the show’s 13th season, and her presence gained attention thanks to her warm welcome to Dorit Kemsley, who tried to tell her that her jacket was inside out. Speaking to ET Online about the incident, Richards admitted, “I don’t even care. [I just wanted to] go from there.”
What’s Bravo Without Drama?

Aside from his problems with Glanville and Rinna, the “Wild Things” star is not a housewives favorite. The woman had accused the 53-year-old of “mommy shaming” after he expressed his discomfort with bringing his daughter around the group following the incident at his Malibu home.
The other housewives saw Richards’ anger as hypocritical, given her season 9 confession about taking Phypers to get a happy sequence.
As for her alleged affair with Glanville, the “Wild Things” star has vehemently denied it, with Glanville later claiming in season 10 that Richards had been gossiping about other women.
According to the former model, Richards referred to Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave as “sad” and described Erika Girardi as a cold-hearted “b——”.

Aside from her Bravo drama, Richards faced more significant challenges after she and her husband found themselves involved in a road rage incident in November 2022 while en route to Popsicle Studio. It just so happened that neither Richards nor Phypers could pinpoint their destination, leading to increasing frustration for the drivers behind them.
Before they could react, the agitated driver started yelling at them while trying to cut in front, The Blast revealed. Although Phypers let the driver pass, he reportedly pointed a gun and fired at the couple’s truck, hitting it in the back of the driver’s side.
Although no one was injured, Richards was understandably shocked by the incident and was said to be in tears as soon as he arrived on set. Upon discovering bullet holes in the vehicle, a member of the production crew immediately notified law enforcement.
While it remains unclear whether police responded to the studio or if an official report has been filed, an off-duty officer was observed escorting Richards and Phypers onto the highway.

Within minutes, fans of the “Blue Mountain State” performer filled the comment section with their congratulations. It’s so scary, and it hurts so much to see that people deal with situations the way they do,” while another shared, “Sending love which is so much. I’m glad you and Aaron are safe.”
