Why Kanye West Attacked ‘Corny’ Gigi Hadid And ‘Nose Job’ Hailey Bieber Again

Kanye West recently redoubled his attacks on models Gigi Hadid and Hailey Bieber following their defense and support of Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson against him. West has been on a 24+ hour rant on Instagram, calling out anyone who offends him or talks about his decision to hold a “White Lives Matter” fashion show.

The rapper was also reportedly baffled and surprised by the negative response in response to his latest collection, which featured “White Lives Matter” T-shirts. The “Praise God” artist walked the runway with several models in T-shirts with “White Lives Matter” written on them. The statement infuriated West’s fans and fellow celebrities, who took to online to criticize the rapper. Some of the show’s guests like Jaden Smith even walked out as soon as it started.

While the move appears to be a calculated effort to garner public attention, several reports have revealed that West was genuinely surprised by the reaction.

In his now-deleted IG post celebrating Instagram model and rumored ex-girlfriend Vinetria, West wrote, “They want Gigi Hadid and Hailey Baldloose’s nose to unite behind an obvious Corey Gamble-level non-fashion industry factory.” The new attack comes as no surprise as West continues to grapple with criticism of his runway and t-shirts.

He previously slammed Hadid as a “slut” and issued a warning to Hailey following their reaction to her falling out with fashion editor Karefa-Johnson.

After West lashed out at a fashion editor who heavily criticized her “WLM” t-shirt, Hadid went out of her way to show her love and support for Karefa-Johnson by calling out the rapper in the comments section of her post.

The model called West a “bully” and a “joke” for his behavior and went on to praise the criticized critics. Hailey also showed her support to the Vogue editor, which caused West to respond and call out both models several times.

Neither Hadid nor Hailey have yet responded to West’s contention.

West was reportedly baffled by the negative comments from the public and his celebrity friends about his latest design. The artist’s latest designs debuted during Paris Fashion Week and saw West showcase his YZY Season Nine collection.

The designer walked on stage wearing a T-shirt that had the Pope’s face emblazoned on the front while the shirt had “White Lives Matter” emblazoned on the back. Contrary to reports, the show is not an attempt to fire up the public.

Through Page Six, sources reveal West only wants to give voice to “the other side” of America. An insider said, “He thinks it’s a PC thing. He wants to give voice to the ‘other side’ [of the race debate in America]. He doesn’t understand why people don’t see it.”

Before the models took to the stage, West gave a speech in a controversial shirt and a pair of flip flops that he’s seen before. He talks about Kim Kardashian, his ex-wife’s robbery in 2016, as well as the number of issues he faced while joining the fashion industry.

West also talked about his recent falling out with the Gap and a few other topics. During the speech, the “Donda” rapper referenced his new name change and called himself a leader. “I’m Ye, and everyone here knows that I’m the leader,” he said Page Six. “You can’t manage me.”

The 43-year-old previously hinted at the presence of some famous people who will appear on the show, such as Kardashian and his ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk. Other celebrities mentioned by West include Emily Ratajkowski, Gisele Bündchen, Beyoncé, Angelina Jolie, Lauryn Hill, Naomi Campbell, Bella Hadid, Rihanna, and Amelia Gray Hamlin.

Despite West’s comments, only Campbell, Hamlin, and Shayk appeared at the event. Candace Owens, a YouTuber known for her controversial views, also joined the show in the same shirt.

Unsurprisingly, some celebrities reacted negatively to the display and even left the show. Jaden Smith, a front row guest at the fashion show, left the event after realizing what was written on the shirt.
