A royal expert has addressed the possibility of Prince Harry writing another book like his memoir “Spare.”
The expert claimed that the Duke of Sussex was not “ready to write another book” after the huge impact his first had on his relationship with his father over his criticism of Queen Camilla.

Back in January 2023, Harry debuted his long-awaited memoir, Spare. The book quickly broke several UK sales records and topped several bestseller lists. While it’s sure to have the Duke of Sussex smiling to the bank, it comes with far-reaching implications for his relationship with his father, King Charles, after he criticized his wife, Queen Camilla, in the book.
Although Harry claims to have enough material for a second bombshell memoir, a royal expert suggests that the former senior royal is not inclined to pursue another writing venture.
“I can’t see that Harry is ready to write another book,” said royal expert Ingrid Seward in an interview with Dear Nine.
Explaining his claim, Seward said that it is possible that Harry’s reluctance to write another memoir could be linked to his reluctance to reveal details about his visit to see his father following the revelation of his cancer diagnosis.
However, he realizes that it is very likely that his wife Meghan will decide to debut her own memoir, which has been rumored several times.

Duke’s Memoir Allegedly Damaged His Relationship With His Father

However, in the interview, Seward claimed that Harry’s memoir “damaged” his relationship with his father. The relationship has already been strained by the prince’s decision to step back from his senior royal role in 2020 and move to the US
Editor of HonourableMagazine said: “I think it certainly damaged his relationship with his father that he publicly criticized his wife.”
She added, “But you know, Charles has such a busy life; there’s so much going on. I don’t think he’s holding a grudge against Harry; I just think he’s withdrawn from Harry.”
Elaborating further, Seward said that Charles probably gave Harry the cold shoulder to avoid saying anything that could be used against him in the future.

He went on to say that Harry’s criticism of Camilla was “really stupid,” adding that “it doesn’t make the book any better.”

What Does Prince Harry Say About Queen Camilla?

One of Prince Harry’s comments about Queen Camilla was the accusation that she was the one who leaked stories about him and his family to the press.
“I have complex feelings about having a stepparent who I think recently sacrificed me on the altar of her personal PR,” she wrote about it in her book, according to Daily Mail.
While promoting the book last January, she drove home her claim during an appearance on Anderson Cooper’s “60 Minutes” show.
Harry said of Camilla: “She’s a villain. She’s third in them [my parents’] marriage, he needs to restore his image. That makes him dangerous because of the connections he has in the British press.”
He added, “Because of the relationships he’s established… there’s an open willingness on both sides to trade information.”

King Charles ‘Furious’ With Duke’s Comments About Camilla

After the premiere of “Spare,” an insider close to royal fans revealed that King Charles was “furious” with Harry’s comments about Camilla.
“Charles is upset,” an insider said at the time,” according to The Cosmopolitan. “She was furious and angry that Harry had posted so many embarrassing and damaging allegations, and it put her in a terrible position with [Queen Consort] Camilla of course now that she’s been dragged into the equation.”
The source added: “It was really over the top in more ways than one, but there were so many horrible comments and revelations from Harry that his father didn’t know where to start.”
Another insider later claimed that Camilla was “hurt” by Harry’s remarks but she “didn’t let it get to her.”

Page Six not stating that the comment came from someone inside Archewell, as News Week suggests that they may come from someone close to the Sussexes who is expressing a personal opinion and is not officially authorized to speak on their behalf.
