Passengers on a JetBlue flight were shocked when the plane crashed on wheels Sunday night after arriving at JFK Airport.
Shocking image shared online show an upside-down Airbus A321ceo — its nose reaching into the sky and its tail planted on the ground.
Passengers were disembarking from Flight 662 from Bridgetown, Barbados, when the strange incident occurred.
“Once at the gate, due to weight and balance changes during screening, the tail of the aircraft tipped back causing the nose of the aircraft to lift and eventually come back down,” JetBlue spokesman Derek Dombrowski told The Post.
“No injuries were reported. Safety is JetBlue’s first priority; we are looking into this incident, and the aircraft has been taken out of service for inspection,” he added in an email.

The incident happened at about 8:30pm after the plane’s second flight of the day, according to data from Flightradar24.
A spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey told The Post that there were no disruptions to airport operations as a result of the freak accident.
Pilots calculate weight and balance before each flight to determine the aircraft’s center of gravity and ensure proper performance.
The position of the center of gravity is affected by the total weight of passengers and other contents, as well as their distribution.
At times, passengers are asked to change seats to ensure the plane is properly balanced — but a plane tipping over at the gate is extremely rare.
