A woman refused to pay for an upgrade on a flight from London to Bangkok after she bumped into the premium section — only to be seen throwing cash at her traveling companions on the runway after they were kicked.
The woman, whose identity has not been released, was on an EVA Air flight Saturday when she started fighting with her male partner, SWNS reported.
He stormed into the premium economy section, but then refused to pay for the upgraded seat.
A spokesman for the Taiwanese airline said the two tourists were “out of control” during the flight.
“Another male passenger traveling with him also behaved indecently and smoked an e-cigarette next to the cabin kitchen,” a spokesperson for the Taiwanese airline told the outlet.
“Our flight attendants took swift action to stop this passenger but were subjected to unwarranted insults and physical abuse,” the representative said.
“After getting help from eight other passengers, these two unruly passengers were successfully restrained.”

But things took a strange turn after the plane turned around five hours into the flight and landed in Vienna, where the arguing couple were ejected.
Footage showed the woman throwing cash at her friend on the street — as she and airport workers scrambled to retrieve the money, estimated to be $6,000.
“The woman and the man, they were already drunk,” Andy Sing, 63, a passenger who was traveling to Thailand on holiday, told SWNS.

“They keep talking about money. He would say, ‘He has my £5,000 in his bag,'” she said. “The captain said, ‘We have to go back to Vienna because [of] staff safety and passenger safety. Ladies and gentlemen, we have no choice but to return to Vienna.’
“He said, ‘It will take two and a half hours to get back there, and we will decide what to do after that,'” Singh said, adding that the man “decided after a few minutes on the tar to grab the bag from the woman, but she just threw in the whole £5,000.”
The police eventually removed the two fighters from the track with a van.
It’s unclear if the pair face criminal charges.
