Wilmer Valderrama is a proud father who enjoys every part of parenthood. His 19-month-old daughter Nakano Oceana, who he shares with model fiancee Amanda Pacheco, is now learning to run and say sweet phrases.

Valderrama Enjoys Every Achievement
Valderrama, 42, recently spoke to PEOPLE about her daughter’s accomplishments and how her father treats her. “It was incredible,” he said. “He’s muttering, ‘I love you,’ now. Literally, I can’t leave the house for work unless I hear it.” He later explained that fathers are “revitalizing and re-energizing” and “that’s everything you think about.”
And now that her little one has “learned to run,” the actress has learned some new lessons of her own. “I think every parent will relate to this, he learned to run and then we realized he was always wearing the wrong shoes for that kind of speed,” he said. “And then knowing that it’s not going to be good at some point and that he’s going to have to learn some tough lessons of balance. That’s been a constant theme in the last month.”

Nakano Is A Fan Of Disney’s “Encanto” Soundtrack
Nakano is a big fan of the music featured in the movie “Encanto,” and for good reason — Valderrama voiced the Madrigal family patriarch Agustin in the popular Disney movie. Earlier this year, PEOPLE reported that the actor told reporters at Hollywood Reporter Oscar Nominee Night that he and Pacheco, 31, play the movie’s soundtrack for their daughter every morning when she wakes up.
“When [Nakano] woke up in the morning, we gave him a bottle and as soon as he heard the song, immediately, raised his hands clapping. [She’s] 1 year old, like he doesn’t know we have a lot of videos [of her clapping],” he said. “It was a bit suspicious because she was like bouncing her nappy up and down and it looked too close to a twerk and it was too early for that. But I think it’s a very beautiful thing when a child wakes up to music.”

This Couple Talked Parenting And Honored Their Origins Earlier This Year
In January, the couple with baby Nakano, was featured parents, talks about respecting the roots and multi-generational order of life. Both mother and daughter are learning to speak Spanish. The family is full of native Spanish speakers, Valderrama and his parents, as well as Pacheco’s father, and they all live near each other. “We want Nakano to grow up in a world where he is proud of where he comes from and respects where he comes from,” Valderrama said. The “NCIS” star posted a clip of the pair discussing parenthood to promote their interview in the magazine on her Instagram page with the caption, “The front cover of our family @parents OUT TODAY!
