The “Dancing With the Stars” Mirror Ball winner took to Instagram to share the news, posting a photo of her, her husband, her first child, and her newborn baby hugging each other as she lay in a hospital bed.
“My children ??? could there be a better Mother’s Day gift??” Carson shared. “We were on cloud nine and soaking in every moment.”
Carson’s friends were quick to comment on the post, including Lindsay Arnold, who said, “Baby!!!! I already love you!” and Jenna Johnson, who commented, “Happy Mother’s Day!!! Look at that baby boy’s hair ?.”

Witney Carson first announced that she was pregnant with her second child on an episode of the ABC reality dance competition show last season after she completed a dance with her partner, Wayne Brady. “I’m so excited to finally announce that Carson, Leo, and myself are expecting baby number two!” he said. “I am very blessed; this feels like the right time to share. And finally I can share it, which is great.”
After the season finale of “Dancing With the Stars,” Wayne Brady and Witney Carson went on “Good Morning America” to discuss the past season of the reality competition show. While there, Carson opened up about her second pregnancy and what it was like to hide it from everyone on the show.
“[Wayne] good, and I could always count on him for anything,” Carson told “Good Morning America.” “He was one of the first people to find out I was pregnant, so he took care of me,” she continued. “He’s like a big brother.”
The 29-year-old woman revealed how difficult it was to keep her pregnancy a secret because she had been sick with this pregnancy. “It’s hard to keep it from people around me because I’m sick, so I have to go and throw up here and there,” Carson explained.
“So Wayne was one of the first to know, and I guess besides the nausea, just trying to hide the bump, it’s my second child, so I’m showing more,” she concluded.
