Leandro, who tragically lost his life from a suspected fentanyl overdose this month, was found with drugs and paraphernalia — including cocaine, a straw with residue and two different types of pills.

follow Page SixAn ongoing investigation by police revealed that a suspected drug dealer, identified as Sophia Marks, reportedly warned Leandro of the dangers associated with fentanyl before selling it to him.
Marks claims to have consistently emphasized the life-threatening risks posed by fentanyl-laced pills, urging the teenager to be careful and avoid taking too much of the substance.
Investigators recovered Leandro’s phone from the scene of his death, where it was revealed he had purchased oxycodone and counterfeit Xanax just days before his death.
In one message, Marks asked her, “Do you really need them … me [don’t] want to kill you,” and then added, “I don’t like treating you because they’re not scripted.”
He also asked her not to “overdo it” after they struck a $105 deal for over-the-counter oxycodone pills and two Xanax tablets.

Following the young actor’s death, recent toxicology reports revealed the presence of cocaine, fentanyl, and benzodiazepines in his system, per Page Six. Toxicology findings shed light on the substances that contributed to his tragic death and raise further questions about the circumstances surrounding his drug use.
According to the investigation, Marks, who has been arrested in connection with Leandro’s death, allegedly drove the drug to his home on July 1 at about 9:15 pm after warning him of its dangers.
He reportedly texted her, “are you okay?” after sending the drug, but he never got a response.
The next day, authorities found Leandro’s lifeless body with drugs in his New York City apartment.
Marks reportedly continued business as usual, selling 50 identical pills to undercover agents and asking them to “please be careful with this … don’t do more than one at a time … my friend just died.”

After her son’s death, Leandro’s mother, Drena, spoke out for the second time on Instagram, expressing shock and deep sadness. The grieving mother shared her emotional feelings and the devastating impact her son’s death had on their family.
“It is with immense shock and sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved son Leo,” he wrote.
The “Furlough” actress added, “We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we be granted privacy at this time to process this inconsolable grief.”

Drena stated that she did not “know how to live without” her son but promised to “try to continue and spread the love and light” she felt for him in “being [his] mom.”
