‘You’ Lovers May Get Second Chance To See Jenna Ortega In Hit Netflix Series
Over the past four years, viewers have seen Joe Goldberg [played by Penn Badgley] stuck in his old psychopathic ways, with his past always coming back to haunt him. And with his story wrapping up in season five, it makes sense that he would come full circle and return to his hometown of New York City.
Despite the intriguing premise, Netflix is keeping the names of those he will cross paths with when he returns to the Big Apple close to their chests. To that end, Badgley didn’t say much when he addressed the crowd on Saturday.

“I’ve heard you’re on the edge of your seat waiting and theorizing about the epic conclusion to ‘You.’ More importantly, you’re considering what, or should I say, who Joe will be up against when he finally gets back to New York,” the 36-year-old said.
He later stated that while he can’t “say who recently,” viewers know “a lot of loose ends from Joe’s past. The question is, ‘Who are you?'”
The clip then features faces that viewers have met in previous seasons, including Ellie Ortega, whose sister died as a result of her encounter with Joe in season two. It also shows Dr. John Stamos’s Nicky, the successful therapist who framed Joe for Guinevere Beck’s murder [played by Elizabeth Lail].
The preview immediately caught the attention of fans, and many began throwing out their thoughts and conspiracies. One claimed, “They’re going to find a way to bring Jenna back for sure,” and another asked, “What if Ellie is the one to take Joe out? Man I’d love to see that happen.”
“Hopefully Paco, Jenna Ortagga, Quinnes and the rest of Joe will chase after her,” a third fond onlooker shared, while a fourth pleaded, “Please bring back jenna ortega. He was really good in season 2.” The fifth exclaimed, “I PULL THAT ELLIE BACK OR PACO!!!” and a sixth simply declared, “We all know Jenna won the show.”
It’s worth noting that fans aren’t the only ones anticipating Ortega’s second act on the show, as The Blast previously reported that showrunner Gamble wanted the same.
She has revealed during an interview that executives “wanted to bring Ellie back,” but they couldn’t because they heard the “Scream” actress was “doing some gigs.'” Gamble later stated that she would love to have the 20-year-old brunette back. to the set, mainly because his presence delighted the cast and crew.
‘Wednesday’ Influences MTV Movie & TV Award Recipient’s Fashion Sense
Although Ortega has been a star on screen since childhood, the most significant change in her appearance came when she starred as Wednesday Addams in the eponymous Netflix show. Since then, her style has leaned towards goth clothing, which her characters mostly wear in horror comedies.
Speaking about her wardrobe upgrade in April, the “Stuck in the Middle” star stated, “I’ve always respected the goth culture. I’ve always had a darker sense of humor, but I never felt like I could express it. Now I feel I can accept those qualities in myself.”
The actress also found the courage to cut her long hair, which she was “very, very attached to” before she took part in the series. In fact, starring in the show has made it “more challenging; to experiment and be more creative that way.”
Ortega’s new style was in full swing as she attended the 2023 SAG Awards in a black Versace gown featuring a plunging neckline that showed off her cleavage, a plunging skirt and a thigh-high slit. She accessorized the outfit with a necklace, silver rings, black platform heels and face beats that accentuated her natural goth beauty.
