The actor is currently filming “The Iron Claw” where he portrays wrestler Kevin Von Erich.
He stars opposite Jeremy Allen White (“Shameless”) and Harrison Dickinson, who play world-famous wrestling brothers the Von Erichs.

Efron was recently photographed with a dark brown bowl cut and a huge body.
The actor is known for pushing the limits of his health for different roles, and his latest appearance caused a lot of concern on Twitter.

The comparison image is funny, but it opened a massive dialogue among fans.
“I hope that’s not his real body. She talked about the unhealthy things she did to get in shape for Baywatch,” commented one fan.
“I don’t know if this is a prosthesis or not. No, but if it was- it was a replica similar to the shape of his abs. Anyway – I hope so. He has a good therapist, and. he fired whoever made the wig,” said another.

Others noted how messed up Efron was to accept the role given his negative experience with losing weight and maintaining such a slim figure in “Baywatch.” He even admitted to hating the extreme dieting process in preparation for the role.

He explained to Men’s Health Magazine“I started having insomnia, and I fell into a pretty bad depression, for a long time. Something about that experience burned me. I had a hard time refocusing. In the end, they chalked it up to taking too many diuretics for too long, and it messed something up.”

Efron admitted to the publication that he over-exercised, ate the same three meals a day and slept four hours a night.
“That ‘Baywatch’ look, I don’t know if that’s really achievable,” Efron reflected. “Too little water in the skin. Like, it’s fake; it looks CGI. And that requires Lasix, a powerful diuretic, to achieve that. So I don’t have to do that. I’d rather have an extra, you know, two to three percent body fat.
