Career
Passionate about dance since childhood, Zamroodh started participating in dance reality shows at a very young age. In 2012, she got an opportunity to compete in the Malayalam reality TV show ‘Super Dancer Junior 5,’ which aired on Amrita TV.
He was a participant in the Kerala School Kalolsavam (2015). Regulated by the Department of General Education, Government of Kerala, Kerala School Kalolsavam is a student fest held in Kerala which provides students with a platform to showcase their talent at school level, sub-district level, district level and state level.
In 2016, he made his film debut with a cameo appearance in the Indian Malayalam street comedy ‘Oru Muthassi Gadha.’
In October 2017, he started working as an assistant instructor at Jobz & Sabz dance academy. In 2017, he joined a dance troupe that performed at Global Village UAE, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex in Dubai.
He appeared as a contestant in the Malayalam dance reality TV show Dance Kerala Dance (2019); the show aired on Zee Keralam. During the quarter finals of Dance Kerala Dance (2019), for the ‘Colours’ round, Zamroodh and his mentor Malavika Menon chose gray as their theme colour. In keeping with their theme colors, they performed on the topic of the dangers of passive smoking. Showcasing a strong social message, the contemporary act was highly appreciated by both the judges and the audience. The feat also earned them the title of best performance of the day and the ‘Golden Ticket,’ a direct entry into the final. Her appearance in Dance Kerala Dance (2019) turned out to be a success for her and earned her a loyal fan following. Get a cash prize of Rs. 7 lakhs, Zamroodh supported the first runner-up position of the show.
Along with her choreographer Sonali Kar, Zamroodh appeared as a contestant on the reality TV dance show ‘India’s Best Dancer: Season 2’ on 16 October 2021.
