Naomi Campbell Inspires Zendaya To Do Louis Vuitton Campaign
Zendaya is the latest Ambassador for Louis Vuitton and kicks off the partnership with a new bag campaign. The photographs were taken for the brand’s Capucines handbags by Mert and Marcus, the iconic photography duo.
During a recent interview with Vogue, Zendaya said the campaign reminded her how much she loved their childhood images. He said, “I remember growing up around the LV campaign.” He also revealed that a ’90s supermodel inspired him.
Zendaya said, per Daily Mail, “There’s this one I love from the early 2000s Naomi Campbell, and she’s like lying on a stick. I can still see it. I can see that image in my head and remember seeing it in magazines as a kid.”
The “Euphoria” star recalled that she and her friends love the brand’s iconic logo. He said, “Everybody has an LV print on their Myspace page. At least I have that! Let me not try to put it on somebody else. That’s me.”

Current Vogue interview, Zendaya also talked about how she likes to use clothing and fashion to create character in her red carpet outfits. She said, “I enjoy the costumes, playing with them, and creating new characters. That’s what I enjoy about fashion – its transformative quality, its ability to be like a story.”

The beautiful Capucines bag is made from full grain Taurillon leather and can be worn as a crossbody, shoulder or top handle bag. Zendaya told Vogue that he likes ugliness because of its versatile features.
He said, “I prefer hands-free. So I have a small bag – like a crossbody, that I can take everywhere. It can hold my phone, lip gloss and a little camera. I am one of those people who like to fill their bags.”
The “Spider-Man: No Way Home” star also said the bag was “beautifully made and durable” and that he only buys durable items. She added, “I’m not always the most responsible bag owner, so I might throw it away, it might wear out, you know, because I want to use it, and it feels so sturdy.”
Louis Vuitton Campaign Premiere
Louis Vuitton premiered the campaign on its Instagram page. The caption read, “#Zendaya and the Capucines. #LouisVuitton unveils actress Zendaya as new House Ambassador, showcasing the iconic #LVCapucines in her first campaign with the Maison.”
Zendaya photographed at a beautiful French villa designed by renowned architect Eileen Gray. She was styled by Roach, who put together a stunning array of outfits for the feature. The dresses were all sleeveless and very flattering on Zendaya’s model figure.
One photo shows the actress in a one-piece body-con with an asymmetric, one-shoulder strap. A video shows Zendaya walking around the villa holding various versions of the Capucine bag. Her hair was styled a rich brown and flowed to her waist.
