18-Time World Champion In Legal Battle With His Ex-Girlfriend

Trump Awards Presidential Medal of Freedom to Tiger WoodsMEGA

Woods emerged victorious in a lawsuit filed against him by his ex-girlfriend, Erica Herman, in May. As it turns out, Circuit Judge Elizabeth Metzger has rejected Herman’s attempt to void their 2017 agreement alleging that the TGR Foundation co-founder had engaged in sexual harassment against her.

In his 11-page opinion, Metzger described Herman’s claims as “vague and without substance.” The document reads in part, “Herman had the opportunity (to) provide factual specificity for any claims related to sexual assault or sexual harassment, however, he did not do so.”

The judge concluded that the evidence showed the existence of a negotiated NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) between the former couple, although Herman’s lawyer, Benjamin Hodas, questioned whether his client had signed one.

As a result of this decision, it was reported by BBC News that the former manager of one of Woods’ restaurants was forced to settle the $30 million case through private arbitration out of court to keep him out of the public eye.

Herman previously claimed he was locked out of the Hobe Sound, Florida home he shared with Woods after being tricked into packing his bags for what he believed was a vacation.

He claimed, through his lawsuit, that the 2019 Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient had promised to reside for 11 years at the property.
