$2.4B Powerball winner Edwin Castro spotted with mystery woman, new haircut at LAX

Edwin Castro, the luckiest man in the world, was spotted at Los Angeles International Airport Thursday with a new mystery woman by his side — and sporting a bold new hairstyle, exclusive photos obtained by The Post show.

Castro, who won a record $2.4 billion Powerball prize in February, and his unrecognizable blonde, were both dressed comfortably as they walked through LAX with smiles and backpacks.

Castro wore a black T-shirt and sweats with white Nikes while his friend wore a black crop top, dark leggings, tan buckle sandals and black socks.

The 31-year-old lotto winner debuted a new ‘do, wearing her signature long, dark hair in several black-and-white braids in a bun on top of her head.

It’s unclear where the jovial couple is headed — but the possibilities are endless with Castro’s cash.

Castro received a lump sum payment of $997.6 million in February, several months after the winning numbers were announced.

Since his historic victory, Castro has dropped a combined $76 million on three large California mansions, including his most recent purchase earlier this month: a sprawling, $47 million, seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom, infinity-pool complex in Bel Air .

His former landlord, Urachi “Reggie” Romero, 47, was sued in February by his former tenant, Jose Rivera, for allegedly stealing winning tickets from him and giving them to Castro.

Romero told The Post that Rivera showed him the winning ticket but denied that he “stole” the ticket and “refused” to return it to him before allegedly giving it to Castro.

Since winning the jackpot, Castro has made several “expensive” purchases. Clint Brewer Photography / AIM / BACKGRID Castro’s shirt features a skeleton wearing sunglasses next to the words “DEAD SEXY.” Clint Brewer Photography / AIM / BACKGRID

“It probably fell out of his pocket, but I don’t know how it got to Castro,” Romero said with a shrug.

Castro responded to Rivera’s allegations in May, claiming his attorney failed to show a clear connection between himself and Romero.
