50 Cent might want to add ‘lucky’ to his moniker because he won’t be facing any criminal charges — at least not for the microphone-throwing incident nearly three months ago.
The “Hate It or Love It” rapper is in legal hot water after throwing a microphone into the crowd at his concert. His actions injured an unsuspecting young woman in the face, resulting in a police report that did not bring any consequences for the 48-year-old months after being filed.
LA City Attorney’s Office Will Not Pursue Criminal Charges Against 50 Cent
The drama between the record executive and the victim, Bryhana Monegain, began on August 30 at a media personality show at LA’s Crypto.com Arena. As noted, the “In da Club” hitmaker caused trouble after angrily throwing his microphone into the crowd and punching the Power 106 radio host.

The impact of the businessman’s anger caused Monegain to suffer multiple cuts on his head and face. Following the incident, viewers filed a police report that authorities initially presented to the LA County DA as a criminal case. But, the DA’s Office did not pursue the matter and turned the responsibility over to the LA City Attorney’s office.
However, the new party in charge of the case recently expressed their disinterest in pursuing the matter and will not file criminal charges against the 50. Instead, the case will remain open for a year from the date of the incident, and it can be re-examined if there are further issues between the 48-year-old and Monegain.
According to the LACity Attorney, the “Ayo Technology” singer, will not be reevaluated for possible criminal charges as long as he stays out of trouble.
Keeping his nose clean may not be a problem for the BET Hip Hop Award winner as his attorney Scott Leemon claims his employer “wouldn’t intentionally hit anyone with a microphone.”
50 Cent Teases Diddy Amid His Ex-Girlfriend’s Sexual Assault Allegations

Before finding out he was free of criminal charges, the “Window Shopper” artist remained indifferent to his case and focused more on trolling Diddy. The 48-year-old shared his hilarious reaction to the older entertainer’s alleged sexual assault on social media.
The Primetime Emmy Award winner shared a viral meme of himself with a bemused expression alongside a playful jab at Diddy’s recent legal troubles. 50’s response to “Coming Home” rapper Cassie’s ex-girlfriend’s claims reads:
“Dear brother, dear brother, dear brother, you out here look ? CRAZY AS MF. LMAO.”
As expected, the “Power” star’s post created a significant buzz among fans as they flocked to the comments section to tease the Bad Boy Records founder. One social media user said: “Dear brother will be sharing a cell with Big Suge soon ?.” Another joker wrote, “LMAOOOOOOOOOO bro been WAITING for this moment.”
A third sympathized with Diddy’s latest legal drama, writing: “First Pac… Now Cassie? Man, this guy needs to be a lawyer!!! ???,” while one fan complimented the 50s demeanor, declaring, “I swear I love how petty this guy is ?.”
The Billboard Music Award winner’s comments about the brand’s founder Sean John came after her ex-lover’s claims. Cassie accused the Hip-hop mogul of rape, physical abuse, and sex-trafficking, among other horrific allegations.
