As Brown continues to recover from the heartbreaking loss of her home, she’s making sure her son has all the support he needs. The proud mom dropped two videos of her little one’s basketball game, filming herself cheering for Phoenix and her team.
In the first post, the “Single Mother Club” star’s son wears the red jersey No. 59 over a gray short sleeve shirt and black shorts. She completed the sporty look with black sneakers and plain black-rimmed glasses.
The Phoenix team, a mixed group of young boys and girls, played against the same opponents as the blue jerseys. During the match, the entertainer’s son slipped, and he could be heard in the background, saying: “Uh-oh baby…shake it baby, shake it.”
The second video shows more of the boys’ growing basketball skills and their mother’s loud cheers, proving they have improved significantly since the fire. Brown addressed their situation in the caption of the first post, writing:

In his message, Brown wrote: “I want to thank everyone who has contacted me and my son during this terrible time. I’m sorry if I didn’t answer the calls, especially yesterday, but my phone was lost in the fire.”
The “For Better Or Worse” actor explained that he had used a spare phone after the incident; however, the device crashes due to lack of memory. He pleaded with those who could not communicate with him to understand his situation, writing:
“So, if you tried to contact me yesterday, I’m sorry. This is the most terrible thing that has ever happened to me, at least with my parents; I knew it was coming.”
Brown admitted she was still struggling with her emotions following the fire but claimed she was delighted by the outpouring of love and support in her darkest hour. In his words:
