According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a “mechanic’s lien” has been placed on the home Aaron and Melanie share in Lancaster. Sterile Goodness, LLC. claiming a lien for “labor, services, equipment, and/or materials upon the premises, and upon every farm or interest in such structures and improvements.”

The company is seeking reimbursement for biohazardous restoration of three bedrooms, a master bathroom, and a closet, which they say totals $33,598.70. Aaron C. Carter is listed as the owner of the property, although Melanie Martin is also listed on the contract. The company claims that they provided the work and obtained the material at the request of either Aaron or Melanie, and now they want his estate to be paid.

If the estate plans to sell the home, they need to clear the mechanic’s lien first. The pop star was found dead at her home in Lancaster, California, on November 5, 2022, at the age of 34. He was cremated less than a week later on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. An autopsy was performed, but the cause of death remains unknown at this time.

Aaron’s Family Believes The Singer Died Of An Overdose

MEGA

On Thursday, January 17, Aaron Carter’s family spoke about the cause of his death. Although she was found in the bathtub, her family did not believe she had drowned. Instead, they believe that he died of a drug overdose.

His fiancee, Melanie Martin, and his mother, Jane Carter, spoke to TMZ and revealed some shocking information about Aaron’s death. The LA County Coroner’s Office reportedly told them they found no water in his lungs, which eliminated drowning as a potential cause of death.

The late singer’s family is still awaiting toxicology results to determine what drug was in his system, but it appears the family has good reason to suspect Aaron died of an overdose. Apparently, Aaron’s family is claiming that a drug deal went wrong on the night of his death and they want law enforcement officials to investigate the allegations.

Melanie, who owns Aaron’s phone, has claimed that she found a text message from an unknown individual stating that she owed $800 for “unknown material.” Aaron reportedly replied that he no longer needed the material, but the person insisted he still owed money. Melanie said Aaron kept asking if she was threatened and the conversation stopped there. He has reportedly handed over the text message exchange to police to aid their investigation.

It’s unclear whether a possible drug deal led to Aaron’s death as police are still waiting for toxicology reports to come in. It’s also worth noting that police officers told TMZ they found several cans of compressed air around his bathroom and bedroom, as well as prescription pills. At this time, his family told the outfit that they did not believe that his death was caused by exhaling compressed air.

Aaron Says His Late Sister Introduced Him By Babble

In 2019, in an episode of The Doctors, Carter, then 31, opened up about his addiction to giggles. “It was something I kept a secret from the whole world until now,” he said, adding that his sister Leslie, who died of a drug overdose in 2012, was the one who introduced him to snoring.

“It started when I was about 16,” he said. “I started going to Staples and Office Depot, and different places, buying it with cash so it wouldn’t be reported on the receipt or anything like that, so nobody could trace me.”

“I’m sulking because I’m really f— stupid and sad but it’s not really an excuse,” he admitted. “I grunt because I’m a drug addict.” At that time, the host Dr. Travis Stork revealed that his urine also “tested positive for marijuana, advanced opiates, hydrocodone for example, and benzodiazepines.”

The family is still awaiting toxicology reports to determine what drugs were in Aaron’s system when he died.
