The cast’s management team, Umbrella Management is in crisis mode and has been since Carter’s unexpected death. Although this is expected from the team, dare we say their job, it must be difficult for them. They know him on a personal level so, naturally, they grieve on their own.

The team recently came out and praised Hilary Duff for standing up for Aaron after seeing a book rejected for publication to capitalize on the singer’s passing. In a statement and thanks to Duff, they revealed another release that intends to capitalize on Carter.

“In the few short days following the passing of a dear friend, we have tried to grieve and process while at the same time having to deal with disrespectful and unauthorized releases, including an album titled ‘Blacklisted,’ a single titled ‘Recently, ‘ and now a book,” the company wrote in the statement.

“This is a time for mourning and reflection not callous money grabbing and attention seeking,” they continued. The company continues to appeal to those pushing content without permission to stop as it is already a challenging time for them.

“We will ask the responsible parties to remove the content mentioned above and no further content will be released without approval from his family, friends and associates.”

Carter died suddenly earlier this month. He was found in his bathtub in a suspicious condition. Since his death, there have been many people who claim to have worked with Carter on random projects and tried to push him forward amid his contagious death.

One of the developing projects is a book author Andy Symonds is writing with Carter. The book has now appeared on Amazon under the title, “Aaron Carter: The Incomplete Story of an Incomplete Life”. This is the book that upset Duff and begged him to denounce the author and his publishing company Ballast Books.

“It’s very sad that within a week of Aaron’s death there is a publisher who seems to be recklessly putting out a book to capitalize on this tragedy without taking the time or care to fact-check his work,” Duff said via E! News.

“To water down Aaron’s life story to what appears to be unverified clickbait for profit is disgusting. I absolutely do not condone explaining what is clearly an ignorant, heartless money grab.”

Ballast Books admits that the book is incomplete but it won’t be now so they might as well release it.

“This book is not finished, but it will not be finished now. In its final version as published, notes were left in the manuscript by the writer and publisher Aaron so that the reader could see the focus and direction in which the book was going. [sic] go.”
