Aaron Carter’s Mom Arrested After Disagreement With Husband Turned Physical

Aaron Carter’s mother, Jane Schneck, was recently arrested for battery.

The arrest came after the parents got into an argument with her husband, Gregory Schneck, over the television remote just after he turned up the volume. Although they had physical contact with each other, no one was injured, and the authorities calmed down the situation.

Jane and Gregory were involved with each other in their Florida home on Friday night due to the loud music coming from the television. Apparently, Gregory had been trying to sleep but couldn’t because of the sound of the television, prompting him to complain and ask for it to be turned down.

Unfortunately, the mother of five, who had just enjoyed a drink with an adult family member, was in no mood to fulfill her man’s request. So the pair argue, causing her husband to pull out his phone to record what’s happening and Jane grabs his wrist to stop him.

In a photo shared on Facebook, the bathtub appears to be filled with green water, with dirty towels and dirty clothes seen around other parts of the bathroom. In addition to the claim that the authorities did not take photos for their investigation, The Blast observed that he also wrote:

“Still trying to get a real investigation into the death of my son Aaron Carter. I want to share this photo of the death scene with you all because the coroner has written it off as an accidental drug overdose. They never investigated it as a crime scene because of his past addiction.”

Jane later revealed that her 34-year-old son has received “a lot of death threats” and has “a lot of people who make his life miserable.” After claiming that his family is not “taken seriously by law enforcement,” especially those living in Lancaster where Aaron resides, he added:

“Because of my son’s mental illness and prescription drug issues, they just want it to be something simple that they don’t have the time or inclination to deal with. This is not going to work for me or Melanie, or anyone who truly loves her.”

Carter’s Official Cause Of Death Was Determined As ‘Drowning’ In April

Several months after Carter’s death, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office declared that he had died of drowning. As reported by The Blast, toxicology tests after his death revealed the presence of “difluoroethane” – a gas commonly found in compressed air cans and aerosol dust – in his body.

“Difluoroethane is a gas commonly used as a propellant in air cleaner sprays for electronic devices that can cause feelings of euphoria when inhaled. It is known to have cardiotoxic effects, which can cause cardiac arrhythmias and sudden cardiac arrest,” the report said.

Additionally, it was declared that benzodiazepine – also known as Xanax – was found in his system. The report states that the drug “has a depressant effect on the central nervous system, which can cause drowsiness and sedation.”

Other substances found in his body included anti-histamine metabolites and quetiapine, which is used to treat depression and is otherwise labeled as an antipsychotic. As for how the drowning happened, “autopsy findings, investigative reports and circumstances” revealed that the “I Want Candy” singer “became incapacitated while in the bathtub from the effects of inhaling compressed gas and taking alprazolam.”

The document added, “This resulted in him being submerged underwater, unable to breathe, and ultimately leading to his death,” before concluding “the manner of death was accidental.”
