Gus Kenworthy is reportedly dating her boyfriend Adam Umhoefer who is a foundation executive at Creative Artist Agency. “Gus and Adam have been in a committed relationship for over two years,” a source told E! News. “They are living together and Adam will be supporting Gus from home during the Beijing Olympics.”
The insider also revealed that Gus and his partner, Adam like to maintain privacy when it comes to their relationship. And, also shared that they love and support each other endlessly. Adam was previously seen cheering Adam on during The X Games in Aspen. Photographer Douglas Friedman shared a photo of the two kissing after one of Gus’ runs at the sporting event.

Gus “came out” in 2015 in an ESPN interview.
“When I came out publicly, I just started dating a guy, and he ended up mentoring me in a lot of ways and helping bring me into the community because I had been actively avoiding him,” Gus revealed in “Coming Out Colton” episode 1. “And I wouldn’t have been able to do it without him. So I’m kind of excited to be the same thing for Colton, in a way.”

They met each other only a year later but found each other immediately. Matt accompanied Gus to the 2018 Olympics. They continued dating for four years before calling it quits in July 2019. At the time Matt was living in New York and Gus was training and competing in Denver. Gus cited their long distance relationship as the reason for their breakup as it was difficult to maintain their relationship.

From 2016 to 2018, Adam worked for the Human Rights Campaign as a Strategic Partnerships Consultant in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
He also served as an independent consultant with Adam Umhoefer Consulting until July 2019.
