It’s been a winning season for Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, and she’s very thankful for it all!

Not long after E! News became a morning show in 2020, the show was postponed indefinitely in March of the same year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was later canceled in August, with its operations focused entirely on web news services.

Now, the revamped gossip show is back with Bailon-Houghton — who is still enjoying the joys of motherhood — and Justin Sylvester as co-hosts.

Bailon-Houghton, a former Disney Channel child star, was clearly excited as she uploaded multiple updates to her Instagram Stories, telling her followers about her latest show news.

The first update – a video – shows the former The Cheetah Girls expressing her gratitude. After recalling how busy her day was, what with her revealing her son, Ever James’ nursery, Bailon-Houghton said:

“I get all these messages from people saying ‘congratulations’ and reposting. So I’m really sitting here so grateful. Like, the next level of gratitude. Like, I still can’t believe God keeps opening doors like this for me, and I get to do what I love.”

He concluded by stating that E! News is “great” for this “new chapter” before kissing the camera and saying, “let’s do it.” “I’m in Love with a Church Girl” follows a video with a different Story featuring reposts from loved ones who have celebrated the good news.

In one of the updates, Bailon-Houghton highlighted a clip that E! News previously announced the show’s return on November 14. Other stories include Deadline screenshots that reveal details of the rumored show. According to the news outlet, Tracie Wilson, Executive Vice President, NBCUniversal Syndication Studios and E! News said:

“Hey! News has a long history of entertainment news excellence, and we’re excited to bring the show back and continue its legacy.”

Wilson acknowledged that the program’s executive producers— John Redmann and John Pascarella — are “strategic and respected executive producers with stellar reputations, and Justin and Adrienne are seasoned, charismatic hosts with a genuine interest in pop culture.”

Their involvement creates perfection that will “bring a new perspective to this franchise.” E! News” launched in 1991 and ran for 29 seasons. It moved from a nightly broadcast in Los Angeles to a morning program in New York In 2019.

As for Bailon-Houghton, she co-hosted the daytime talk show “The Real” for eight seasons, winning an Emmy award for her reporting in 2018. Unfortunately, Warner Bros. canceled the show earlier this year.
