A week after news of his split from wife Rochelle Deanna hit, the Backstreet Boys member was hospitalized. He informed his millions of followers via Instagram that he was going to undergo critical surgery.

Fans don’t have to look too far for medical complaints; he immediately mentioned that it was for hernia surgery. The pop singer looked like she was minutes away from being taken to the operating room, but thankfully, she looked confident.
He put on a hospital gown with a nose mask and attached the necessary IV to his wrist. In the caption, she asked her followers to wish her a good lunch, and they duly did so in the comments section of the post.

Hours after his surgery, the father of two shared a snapshot of his post-surgery lifestyle and showed off his bandages. The dancer posted three photos to her timeline to update fans on her surgery.
He was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, gray joggers, and a pink beanie hat. Alongside her outfit, the singer rocked a Cuban link choker, watch and bracelet. One snap shows the singer lying on a mattress with a determined look, while another reveals a bandage on her stomach as she removes her shirt.
In the caption, the salsa dancer shared that she is still in pain but hopes for a speedy recovery. She shared that her post-surgery lifestyle included “lots of bed rest and movies.” Finally, he appreciates everyone for their prayers and support.
McLean’s fans flooded his post-op upload with words of encouragement. A concerned fan wrote, “Praying for a speedy recovery and you start feeling pain free soon, don’t overdo it just relax and enjoy the rest.” Another fan wrote:

News of his surgery comes after he announced that he and his wife are working hard on their marriage. According to The Blast, the “Truth or Dare” actress explained in her statement that the split was necessary to “work on themselves” to get a better result from their union.
He went on to state that he and Rochelle intend to “get back together and continue to nurture our love for each other and our family.” The statement also included a request for “respect and privacy at this time” from commenters.

In January, Burke used her Instagram story to announce McLean’s appearance on her talk show. He hyped the interview to his audience, telling them it would help those dealing with addiction.
The four-second clip shows the model talking to the 45-year-old about one of her canceled tours. He confirmed by saying, “Yes when I go to rehab.” The last update was longer and focused on the guest star revealing, “My alcohol addiction affects everyone in my life.”
The “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” actress mentioned that being sober helps distinguish between what’s meant to be in your life and what’s there because of alcohol.
The “Teenage Wildlife” singer added that people jumped ship when he finally quit drinking for the first time. He said, “And I was like, ok, now I know, you answered that question for me. Now I know why you’re my friend. It’s because you know I can take you to clubs and parties.”
