Actor Alec Baldwin and the producers of “Rust” have released their new movie “Supercell” even though the actor is facing a criminal trial.

William teams up with his father’s old friend Roy, played by Skeet Ulrich, and a greedy travel company owner named Zane, who happens to be played by Baldwin. As William tries to learn more about his father, a “Supercell” storm begins to approach them. Anne Heche plays William’s mother who gives up her career as a scientist after her husband’s death.
Although Baldwin has been tight-lipped about the release of his new film, he spoke to The Hollywood Reporter in June 2021 about the impact they were able to make on a limited budget. “I haven’t run across a field trying to catch the sun to shoot in a long time,” he said at the time.
“They don’t have money for a lot of effects, this is not a Spielberg production. They had to find a way to simulate it and do it at a low cost, and they did,” he continued. “We’re going to say ‘action’ and get out of this van and oh my god, they’re blowing this stuff at us like you wouldn’t believe.”
‘Supercell’ Fails to Impress Critics But Succeeds in Engaging Audiences
