Actor Alec Baldwin is asking his 2.5 million Instagram followers to leave positive comments on a new parenting podcast created by his wife, Hilaria Baldwin.
On Wednesday, the “30 Rock” actor took to social media to say he’s proud of his wife for opening up about her motherhood journey, with a focus on their 1-year-old daughter, Marilu.
Alec Baldwin Shows Support For Hilaria Baldwin & All Women For ‘Whatever Choice They Make’
On Wednesday, the 64-year-old New Yorker took to Instagram to praise the Witches Anonymous podcast created by his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, and Michelle Campbell. Hilaria and Alec have seven children together. Although she gave birth to their newborn daughter in September, the Baldwins welcomed Marilu through a surrogate.
“I am forever grateful to everyone who helped bring Marilu into this world. And I’m proud of you, @hilariabaldwin, for opening up on @witchesanonpod about the joys and struggles you’ve experienced on your motherhood journey,” she wrote in the caption. “I admire, and support, all women for whatever path they take, whatever choice they make.”

Hilaria Shares Advice For Families Considering Surrogacy
On her own Instagram page, Hilaria Baldwin told her followers that the latest episode of her podcast focused on surrogacy. In the caption, she gave some advice for families considering surrogacy as an option.
“Some of the best advice I’ve given when considering surrogacy is to be open and talk about it. ‘People stop talking about things they’re ashamed of…and it’s a beautiful journey where so many people are working so hard to bring souls into the world.’ When Marilú was born, I didn’t feel that the world was a safe place for me to share,” the 38-year-old mother began. “Many opinions and articles questioning its existence made me cry when I was so happy with the birth of my daughter.”

“Almost 2 years later, I’ve done a lot of healing work and I’m committed to speaking out, sharing our beautiful stories, and fighting ignorance,” Hilaria continued. “Some are committed to misunderstanding, some choose to judge if they don’t understand, some are afraid to ask because they know our world is closed for fear of saying the wrong thing and offending. , and then there are people who welcome love in all its shapes and sizes.”
“You won’t offend me with your questions so bring them,” he continued. “The most common is: do I feel the same about him as I do my other children? Do my children treat him differently? Does the woman who brought him feel that he is her child? Do I make friends with women who carried him?”
