Wallace began by asking the former MLB player how he felt about his ex-fiancé Lopez reuniting with his former flame Ben Affleck just days after their split. “Honestly, did it bother you that, within days of your breakup, she got back together with Ben Affleck and she ended up marrying him, didn’t it?” Wallace asked sharply.
Before tackling this tough question, the former New York Yankees star eased the tension with a little humor. The Manhattan native jokingly suggested that he would not be a presidential candidate because of Wallace’s questioning skills.
As for how she feels about the pop culture icon’s marriage to the “Gone Girl” actress, Rodriguez explained that she has nothing but love for her ex-fiancée. In his words, “With Jennifer, look, It was a good experience, and I hope she and the children – who are smart and beautiful and wonderful – I wish them the best.”

The “Back In The Game” show host stated that pre-suspension, his long-time winner believed to involve “big contracts, home runs, nice cars and women.” However, after the suspension, the 47-year-old learned the importance of being a good friend, son and father with great character, loyalty and team-building skills.
Realizing that his early years weren’t his best side, the former baseball player believes his past helped create a better version of himself. The Manhattan native said, “In my 20s, early 30s, maybe not the best… I think I’ll be a good spouse or husband and father after suspension because of the lessons learned from my biggest mistake.”
