Alyssa Scott Defends Nick Cannon Not Announcing Their Newborn’s Birth

Alyssa Scott defends her baby daddy, Nick Cannon.

After the birth of their daughter Halo Marie, unlike the birth of his other children with other women, Cannon did not make any big revelations. This certainly caught the attention of a few fans who felt he might treat their newborn differently than his other eleven children.

Over the weekend, Scott engaged his fans in a Q&A session on his Instagram story that left some of his fans searching for an explanation for the “Wild ‘N Out” star’s reluctance to post. The mother of two was able to calm the storm with a satisfying response.

Being in Cannon’s group of baby mamas comes with strict rules to always set the record straight on issues that may directly involve their children. The Instagram model recently put out a fire on her Instagram story about the father of her second daughter.

During a Q&A session with fans, the mother of two was asked, “Are you sad Nick never announced the birth of your daughter like the others.” He responded by examining the reasons for the situation by writing, “His announcement was something I wanted to do. Now he’s free to send it as much or as little as he wants.”

But they won’t budge with such an answer as other fans ask, “Is nick involved in your daughter’s life? Feels like he never posts about him?,” to which he reiterated, “I get this question a lot. Like I said. He respected my wishes. Now he can send as much or as little as he likes.”

Fans’ suspicions about Cannon not being in her daughter’s life may have started last December when The Blast reported how Scott was getting ready for Christmas with some cute pictures but didn’t see her baby daddy.

The 29-year-old posted an incredible photo on his Insta story to kick off the holidays. One photo reveals her in a low-back red dress with ruffle detailing around her back as she strikes a side pose.

The photo also features her first child, Zeela, standing in front of a tree that is elaborately decorated with lit candles and gift boxes wrapped at the bottom. “my favorite time of the year ???❤️,” she captioned the post.

The following slide features her adorable four-year-old daughter sitting at the end of a long white chair in a knee-length flared dress with puff sleeves and a gold band around her waist, paired with long white stockings and gold ballet shoes. .

In a separate image, Scott kneels before his toddler, who stares at him adoringly. The last post is a solo photo of a social media influencer standing in an opaque room with lights from a beautiful tree. He hung ornaments on the tree and said “HAPPY HOLIDAY ?” to his followers.

Cannon, as we mentioned, is the proud father of twelve children, and just before the year began, he had an interview with Andy Cohen, who asked him about his plans for fatherhood.

The Blast noted that the American television host got into the topic of his growing family on CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live.” As the show aired live from Times Square, the host and cast discussed things like vasectomy and New Year’s resolutions.

Cohen raised questions about the “Masked Singer” host’s plans to have children because, to everyone, it appears he’s on a mission to “single-handedly repopulate the Earth,” adding, “What’s your plan?” Cannon replied:

“Obviously, I don’t have a plan. To be honest, I am very happy and happy, the family I have, and I accept it. I love it, and I have no plans. That should be obvious from the jump.”

However, the Bravo host responded with a follow-up question, “Avasectomy?” For a diversion, the “Drumline” actor asked her if she wanted him to get the procedure while laughing. Finally, she passionately declared, “This is my body, my choice.”
