Resources for Explosion at the time of her hospitalization in March shared that Bynes lost a significant amount of weight and was abusing drugs. They said the actress had experienced “a surprising and dramatic weight loss over the past few months.” They also added that the star at the time weighed less than 100 pounds.
Although our source did not say which drug the actress abused, Bynes is known to have a history with Adderall, which can cause rapid weight loss.
After a stint at the hospital and three weeks of treatment, Bynes reportedly left the facility after work to ensure she was fit enough to return to normal life and activities.

The source also claims that the actress has been advised to stay away from her ex-fiancé, Paul Michael, as those close to her believe he was the “catalyst” in her psychotic break. The source stated, “Her family and friends believe that her breakup was the catalyst in her breakdown and that she was not a healthy and safe person to be around.”
They further stated that the former couple “were dependent on each other, and the latter part of their relationship was toxic due, in part, to the fact that they met in rehab. They traded their addictions to substances for each other’s addictions.”
