Amanda Bynes has revealed she underwent drastic cosmetic surgery, including removing “folds of skin” from her eyes.
In a recent video shared on social media, Bynes opened up about the plastic surgery she underwent called Blepharoplasty. The former actress said it helped boost her confidence and made her feel better.

In a video posted to her Instagram story, she clarified speculation about her appearance, admitting that she looks different because she underwent surgery, Blepharoplasty, to remove skin folds at the corners of her eyes.
“So I saw some stories online that said I had a new face, and I’ve never been open about this before but I actually had Blepharoplasty surgery on the skin folds at the corner of my eyes. So I don’t have those skin folds anymore.” Bynes said in the short clip.

She continued, “It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for my confidence, and it makes me feel better in my skin. So I just wanted to post about that just to clear up the rumors about why I got a new look.”
The “Hairspray” star later stated that she feels “better about” herself and is “very happy” that she underwent Blepharoplasty. “It’s one of the biggest things I can do,” Bynes added.
In another clip, she also talks to her fans about why she “usually” doesn’t look good in paparazzi photos. According to Bynes, This is because paparazzi photos are taken outside and the sunlight is usually “hard and bright” on her skin.
