From dealing with speculation of a feud between her and television presenter Holly Willoughby to ex-husband Les Dennis revealing he had forgiven her for cheating on him during their marriage, the last few weeks have seen Holden’s name splashed across the headlines.
A new report claims that the “Britain’s Got Talent” judges are having a tough time deciding between staying in the UK and moving to the US. According to the source who spoke Closerthe 52-year-old “is feeling very torn right now about his future,” especially since he has “people in his ear encouraging him to strike while the iron is hot to cover Holly on ‘This Morning’.”

“Meanwhile [hand], he got his dream of working in America in line with a job offer provided working on the current affairs show Inside Edition. He just wants to make sure he plays his cards in the next few weeks, but right now, he’s not sure what steps he should take,” the insider added.
The source also stated that while Holden would “be delighted to accept a role on the This Morning sofa,” he has been told that “ITV bosses could call him at any time and offer him to come back, but he’s already got dates in the diary with lots of other offers that happened, so it was a very difficult time for him.”
They later stated that the Portsmouth-born beauty hopes “she can get someone else to make the decision for her because she doesn’t want to make the wrong decision.” In the end, the “Wild at Heart” star has hopes of leaving it “to fate but he is being pressured by his team to make a decision.”
This isn’t the first time Holden’s internal struggles have been publicized. Back in April, The Blast reported that the “I Can See Your Voice” alumnus was seriously considering moving to America with his daughter, Alexa Louise Florence Hughes, reportedly looking at three universities there.
At the time, another insider stated that the “Big Top” actress “spent the school holidays in LA with the whole family and had a wonderful time.” He also hangs out with his boss, Simon Cowell, and his fiancee, Lauren Silverman, and they encourage him to “get moving and enjoy the sunshine and blue skies forever.”
If the singer decides to go ahead and move to the US, it is not certain whether he will quit “Britain’s Got Talent” or fly back every week to film.

It was announced last year that Holden would host a docu-series on Sky titled “Horrible Histories for adults.” The WhatsOnStage Award winner’s engagement was teased on Instagram with photos showing her dressed as Cleopatra and Marilyn Monroe.
He later spoke about the project when sharing his reasons for skipping the National Television Awards in October 2022 even though “BGT” was nominated in the main category. In his words:
“I’ve just started filming a new series for Sky, which is going to be a lot of fun, and it might be a bit controversial. It will be a program where you will learn something too, a proper history lesson.”
He added that the exciting project is a “factual program about a taboo subject” that will allow fans to see him “get his hands dirty.” A source reiterated that while the documents are filled with “facts, information and educational moments,” Holden made sure he put his “own style into it.” Elaborating further on the production objective, the insider explained:
“This generation thinks it’s at the forefront of sexual exploration, but we really don’t know anything compared to the Romans or the Regency.”
They went on to share that the “As If We Never Said Goodbye” singer will be donning a costume appropriate to impersonate some of the historical figures on screen.
