The author turned 41 on March 19 and celebrated her special day with loved ones over the weekend in Las Vegas. On Instagram, she posted a few moments from the celebration and shared reflections on life after her husband’s death.

The first slide features the TV host showing off her style and moves in a strapless silver metallic mini dress. She danced to club music while getting encouragement from her guests before blowing out the candles on her cake. Other images see the star surrounded by her sister Anna Kloots and close friends as she hugs him and smiles happily at the camera.

In the last picture, they have left the club and are standing on the steps leading to Caesar’s Palace. Kloots began the caption by writing in part, “It’s my birthday! What a great way to start the new year with the best friends and family in Vegas!”
