Now coupled with a win for the latest comedy vehicle with a big star, Movie Heads Julie Rapaport and Jennifer Salke believe it marks a step for Amazon in strengthening its movie status.
follow Deadlinethe script was pitched by Barbakow, best known for directing Andy Samberg-Cristin Milioti’s 2020 comedy “Palm Springs,” which “Neon and Hulu” won at Sundance for then-record festival totals.
The yet-to-be-titled film will be written and directed by a cinematographer. At the same time, LuckyChap Entertainment — the production label of Margot Robbie, Josey McNamara and Tom Ackerley will produce alongside Aniston’s Echo Films and Robert’s Red Om Films banner.
Not only did Amazon win the body-swapping comedy, but they also won Simon Kinberg’s “Red Shirt,” in which “Step Up” actor Channing Tatum will star and be directed by David Leitch. Another is Nick Stoller’s wedding comedy starring veteran actors Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon, as well as a bid for Sundance hit “Flora and Son.”
The auction was run by CAA, and it was noted that if the A-listers package could be fast-tracked and put into the release schedule as soon as possible, it would be the best way to get the highest amount of money.
It’s also worth noting that by the time the “We’re The Millers” cast and the “Notting Hill” stars make the film, each of them will have reached their highest payday which includes their buybacks and salaries.
Hirsch Wallerstein and CAA will represent the 55-year-old; “Office Space” stars Lighthouse Management, Hansen Jacobson and CAA; Max Barbakow is a Partner at Range Media, Jim Gilio, and Jonathan Sauer at Sloan, Offer, and CAA; LuckyChap is the attorney for Jeff Bernstein, Entertainment 360 and CAA.

Everyone fantasizes about meeting their heroes and even goes so far as to practice what they will say to them and hope they don’t become too awkward around them. Celebrities who have received a lot of praise do not fail to feel awe when they get the chance to work closely with someone they admire.
This was the case for Aniston, who revealed how she became a fangirl when she met Roberts on set. Per TodayThe “Just Go with It” actor explained how he felt about getting a star on the mother of three.
Although they had known each other before working together on the movie “Mother’s Day,” there was footage of Aniston confusingly calling her co-star by her real name, “Julia,” while filming their character.
When asked why that was, she exclaimed, “Because it’s Julia Roberts! My goodness!” to ET during the film’s premiere. Since Hollywood is a small world and they’ll be meeting in a few places, including red carpet appearances, and auditions, among other things, one would think it would be cool to meet Roberts up close.
That only got worse when the producer further clarified that he was just disappointed to see the “August: Osage County” star in his acting element. The “Marley & Me” actress said, “It’s a different thing when, you know, you get to work with them, and then you do what you two do together. You know what I mean?”
