The actress was relieved to have settled her relationship with her ex-husband Depp but, unwittingly because of Depp, she was dealing with her insurance company refusing to drop their case against her. according to Heard in court documents obtained by RadarOnlinethe actress claimed that New York Marine and General Insurance Co. won’t drop the lawsuit they filed against him even after the situation with Depp has been resolved.

The lawsuit was handed to Heard in July 2022 after she was found liable for defamation against Depp. He was ordered to pay 8.3 million. He decided to ask the insurance company to pay half of the portion.

Heard’s attorney said, “At this time, New York Marine does not face any actual or threatened economic harm from Ms. Heard, as she has withdrawn her claim for damages and is not seeking any defense costs from New York Marine unless and until the Court orders dismissal this was reversed on appeal.”

The actress released a statement after her lawsuit with Depp was settled. She wrote, “Women shouldn’t face abuse or bankruptcy for telling the truth, but unfortunately, it’s not uncommon.”

He insists that he only made the deal as “an opportunity to free myself from something that I tried to leave over six years ago and on terms that I can agree to.” The statement continued.

“I did not make a confession. This is not an act of concession. No restrictions or banter regarding my voice moving forward. I made this decision because I lost faith in the American legal system, where my unprotected testimony serves as entertainment and social media.”
