American Idol winner Samantha’ Just Sam’ Diaz went back to their roots, singing on the subway to survive after victory blew up in their faces.

The entertainer who is best known for winning the 18th season of the popular singing competition show revealed that he is right back where he started before appearing on the FOX TV show. Diaz used to sing on the subway and on street corners to make it.
Their place American Idol saved their lives, so it’s surprising that three years later, they’re struggling to the point where they’re back to basically begging on the streets.
The 24-year-old Harlem native shared the news on her new social media channel, and while she initially felt “really embarrassed” to be in this position again, she had no other choice. They “legitimately need the money,” and not being busy on the streets is more of an “option.”

The realization has come to Sam that they have “fallen so low” since winning Idol. It started when they struggled with an unknown illness last summer. Diaz shared on IG Story that “they have a lot more” to reveal, “but not that much” they are “allowed to say”.
The message continues. “I promise that I will say more soon. For now, I will say a big thank you to everyone who has my back. Thank you so much to the people who have shown me nothing but love and support. THANK YOU THANK YOU ALL FOR THE PATIENCE!!!! It is needed and appreciated.”

Although Diaz’s life has undergone drastic changes, they managed to speak positively and share it with their followers. “I woke up with so much love, I couldn’t do anything but CRY LIKE A BABY & say THANK YOU to everyone who watched. Thank you very much.”

Since they have a good following on IG, they use it to attract attention, announce where they can be found singing that day, and even share some videos from their subway singing sessions.
Diaz said they don’t usually post their Cash Apps, they leave it up to those who want to donate to find them. Sam says this is because they already feel bad about asking others for help after winning a large sum.

We all want to know what happened to the staggering $250k in cash he won, the recording contract, and the coaching. Diaz didn’t share that information, but as they mentioned earlier, they had fallen ill.
We can assume that the money goes to hospital bills. Diaz left their followers with a good message. “Look at How God turned all this around & look at me CONTINUING TO GIVE ALL THE GLORY TO GOD! There are things God will do for me that no one else can do or stop. I have so much faith 11!!”
