The social media star was locked up in late December on charges of human trafficking and organized crime.
Andrew was arrested along with his brother, Tristan Tate, and two women.

They reported to a Romanian prison last year and have lived there ever since. Their sentences were recently extended to February 27 after their appeals were rejected.
Andrew reportedly sent his first email since the lockdown.
According to YouTuber Fesify, the former freelancer issued a newsletter to all of his subscribers from the email address “[email protected].”

He made the subject, “My first email from Jail.”
In the email, Andrew describes his current living situation, which paints a very ugly picture.
“I will send you my daily lessons from the unjust prison. They tried to break me. Thrown into a cell without light,” he wrote. “Cockroaches, fleas, and bedbugs are my only friends at night. When the guards escorted me to and from the courtroom, I remained respectful. They tried to pour hatred into my heart. But Please and Thank You remain with me at all times.”

Explosion recently reported that the Tate brothers and their alleged accomplices had their prison sentences extended.
According to reports, a judge granted a further 30-day extension of their detention.
Andrew angrily responded to the news through his lawyer and said he was “arrested for a crime of opinion.”
The defense lawyer, Constantin Ioan Gliga, told a Romanian news channel Gandul“We continue to maintain that practically at the moment the Tate brothers are being arrested for opinion crimes, because of what they say, at one point, in an online environment and not because of what they actually do in their private lives.”

He added the judge’s decision to extend the Tate brother’s time in jail by 30 days was “unwarranted and completely excessive.”
