Rinna’s decision to leave the series was reportedly a mutual choice made with Bravo, according to a People report on the news.
“This is the longest job I’ve held in my 35-year career,” Rinna began in her statement, “and I’m grateful to everyone at Bravo and everyone involved with the series. It’s been a fun eight-year run and I’m excited with what is to come,” he concluded.
The outlet also reported that the decision was made because Rinna’s contract with the network had expired.

Following the news of Rinna’s departure from the series on Thursday, several famous celebrities began to react to the news.
A reaction more on the subtle side! Former ‘RHOBH’ cast member Lisa Vanderpump, who has clashed with Rinna numerous times throughout the two series’ run together, took to Twitter. Vanderpump didn’t mention Rinna or the news explicitly, but according to E!, Twitter users were quick to respond to Vanderpump’s cryptic tweet.
The tweet, which now has over a thousand replies, simply reads “ding dong.”
“Same words are said when you’re fired,” a Twitter the user repliedto which Vanderpump quickly dragged their comment!
“You are fired?” she replied along with three laughing emojis.
“Your rent is so low,” said another Vanderpump followers responded. “Your actions speak for themselves and have always been so I will never be proud.”
“Why follow people with low rent?” Vanderpump tweeted back, “Stupid girl,” she said.
Rinna’s husband Harry Hamlin also gave his two cents about the situation.
He defended his wife in his response, claiming that his tendency to speak up would often result in “problems” for her in the series.
“He did his job,” Hamlin said. “His job is to show up on time, interact with people on the show in an honest and genuine way. His hot button issue, I think, is injustice, or when other people aren’t being honest, he’ll call it out, and that will cause a lot of trouble. But it also helps the show,” Hamlin told People.
Cohen Dubs Rinna’s Time On ‘RHOBH’ As ‘Iconic’

As the face of Bravo, Cohen has gotten to know Rinna well over the years. Despite having a relationship that wasn’t always peachy, Cohen said goodbye to Rinna via his Instagram story.
Two years ago the two clashed after Rinna expressed her displeasure with the then-season reunion. The reunion tackled the drama between then-cast member Denise Richards and former actress and frequent guest star Brandi Glanville.
“We shot the Beverly Hills reunion almost the other day,” Cohen explained on an episode of his radio show, “[Rinna] said it was ‘b*lls**t.’ He was really upset that Brandi wasn’t there and I wasn’t.
“We went back and forth about whether he should come, talked to Brandi about it,” Cohen continued, “And I think when you see the finale, you’ll see, I don’t know, I don’t want to give too much away. But the bottom line is, we everybody wants to hear from Brandi, but yeah, [Lisa] upset about that.” (per The Blast)
