Andy Cohen was quick to defend Meghan Markle against rumors that she faked an interview on his “Archetypes” podcast. The “Watch What Happens Live” host was one of the guests who appeared on the Duchess’ show in 2022 and dismissed the rumours, calling them “absurd.”

While talking to Us Weekly, Cohen said, “Of course, I am [spoke with Markle]And he sure is [interviewed me]. That’s a crazy rumor. His podcast is about conversations with people. How could he not have? Of course, he did. The TV host further said he found Meghan to be “informative” and “quite researched” during their conversation.

Earlier this week, a report by PodNews claimed that some of Meghan’s interviews for the podcast were done by her staff and not her. The rumor claims that editors later included Meghan’s voice in the edited episode.

A Reporter Claims Meghan Markle Didn’t Interview Her

The rumor started in August 2022, when Allison Yarrow, one of the guests from the podcast, claimed that Meghan did not interview her.

Yarrow, a New York journalist, claimed in a social media post that a member of Meghan’s production company interviewed her. The reporter is featured in “To ‘B’ or not to ‘B’?” podcast episode in which he and Meghan explore the “origins and epidemic” of the word “bi**h.”

Yarrow claims she spoke to Farrah Safari, an audio producer on Meghan’s team. He shared a photo of himself in front of the audio production company’s sign and also thanked Farrah for being a “really good interviewer” to him.
