While interviewing the “Toxic” singer for his Glory album, Andy Cohen discussed the “really creepy” interactions he had with the pop star and a mystery woman on the latest episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “I got there, and this woman was there, and it was like Britney was her prisoner. She was her kidnapper,” he said, according to ET. “I won’t say his name because I don’t want to get sued, but it was really creepy.”
Andy said that he was warned that there would be a woman who would accompany the “Overprotected” singer at all times before he flew to Los Angeles for the interview. “There’s this woman who’s by Britney’s side the whole time, and she’s basically telling her what to do and where to go, and it’s really creepy,” he said.

During the interview, Andy claimed that he, Britney, and will.i.am were on stage when the woman joined them to give Britney “instructions.” He said that Britney “murmured consent” to instructions given by her alleged “captor,” according to the talk show host. In an excerpt from “The Woman In Me” released by People magazine just a week before her memoir was released, the “Gimme More” singer explained that she “became a robot” during her conservatorship, “I became a robot. But not just a robot – a kind of child robot . I’ve become a child until I’ve lost a piece of what makes me feel like myself.”
“Conservation has stripped me of my femininity, turning me into a child. I became more of an entity than a person on stage. I have always felt music in my bones and blood; they stole that from me,” he continued, explaining that he felt like a “shadow” of himself at the time.

“This is what’s hard to explain, how quickly I can vacillate between being a little girl and being a teenager and being a woman, because of the way they’ve taken away my freedom,” she wrote. “There’s no way to behave like an adult, because they won’t treat me like an adult, so I’ll fall back and act like a little girl; but then my grown-up self would retreat — it was just my world that wouldn’t let me grow up,” Spears wrote.
In the book, she added: “The woman in me was pushed down for a long time. They wanted me to be wild on stage, as they told me, and be a robot all the time. I felt like I was being stripped of my secrets. that good life – the cardinal sins of being considered pleasures and adventures that make us human,” he added. “They want to take away that privilege and keep everything as possible. It was death to my creativity as an artist.”
