The Maryland mom was filmed making out with a married cop on the street before joining him in the back of his squad car and remains unapologetic about their tryst.
Virginia Pinto told The Post her relationship with now-suspended Prince George’s County Police Officer Francesco Marlett “wasn’t a one-night stand,” and that the couple had been seeing each other for about two years.
“That’s the main story – that this is not a small thing,” he said, adding: “Of course, because he’s a police officer, it looks bad. But I just want people to understand that this is not a one-night stand.”
Pinto was first identified by Marlett’s wife, Paula, who told him to “rot in b—h hell” in a fiery Facebook post Wednesday morning, just hours after her husband was suspended from the department, which launched an investigation into his conduct after the video became viral.
Despite the publicity from the scandal, Pinto, a proud Army veteran, appears collected and unfazed as he talks about it.
“What’s exciting? He’s a policeman. I am a civilian. We have been arrested. It’s hard, but this will pass,” he said.

“I live my life. I have children. I’m sure, as you know, I have a 15-year-old autistic boy. His father is Caucasian. I think I have a thing for white people.
“In my head, I didn’t do anything wrong. I will go on with my life, doing what I do. In my heart, in his heart, I know I didn’t do anything. He know. Paula knows. I didn’t do anything wrong. God is my higher power.”
Paula had stronger words about the situation in a statement to The Post Wednesday afternoon.

“Looks like Virginia has a mouth to give about me when her husband leaves her dirty ass because she can’t stop cheating and getting herself into other people’s business,” she texted.
“My husband uses her for sex because she’s easy … I never put our marriage out there like all our marriages have had difficult problems. We will get through everything at the end of the day.”
In the 47-second video, Pinto and a uniformed Marlett are seen kissing and engaging in some heavy petting next to his squad car as it is parked near a park filled with children next to Oxon Hill High School.
They then went up the back together, where witnesses said they stayed for 40 minutes before leaving separately, according to the Baltimore Banner.

A second video has also since emerged that appears to show Pinto sneaking into a Prince George’s County police cruiser, which appears to be Marlett’s, on a separate occasion.
After Paula called out Pinto for the home wreck on Facebook, the mistress fired back with a post of her own in which she accused the wife of cheating on herself, but declined to comment further when pressed about the claim on Wednesday.
“I won’t tell you, come on. I can’t tell you. There are no bad people in all of this. We are all bad people, I think,” he said.
“From what I read in the report, it was alleged that in May he was suspended for domestic violence. That should be evident right there, ding-ding-ding-ding-ding — there might be something wrong with the relationship.”
“Now people will understand, will see, that there is no perfect marriage. He happens to be a police officer.”
Marlett was briefly suspended in May and previously in 2016 after being charged with child abuse after he allegedly beat his girlfriend’s 3-year-old son until the boy was unconscious.
The Prince George’s County Police Internal Affairs Division later ruled both allegations unfounded, the department said.
Pinto said the incident and the current scandal have not hindered his feelings for Marlett, but would not speculate on their future together.
“Of course there are feelings. Of course. I will not hide it,” he said.

Police acknowledged both videos in an update Wednesday, and reiterated that they are investigating Marlett.
“I know the actions of the officers seen in this video have sparked a range of emotions in the community and put a negative spotlight on this agency and the many hardworking women and men who wear our uniform,” said Chief Malik Aziz.
“I expect every officer to behave in a manner that will not bring this agency or this district into disrepute. I assure the people of Prince George’s County I take this very seriously.”
