A high-spirited Anna Kendrick seems to have had an entertaining experience in a failed elevator on her way to the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.
He documented the incident on his Instagram, revealing that he was stuck for several minutes in the compartment, with several other people who seemed to be enjoying the experience!

The posted video begins with a picture of Kendrick in the middle of them trapped in an elevator, and the words “trapped in an elevator” written over it. It then led to the Satellite Award winner jokingly saying:
“This is why I shouldn’t leave the house without at least like a small bottle the size of an airplane because you never know when you’re going to get stuck in an elevator.”
He jokingly adds that they have to ration their limited food supply and calls them all “trembling,” which he seems to like but believes others might hate. Then, a voice was heard outside the elevator saying they had to open the entrance that was placed between the floors. They immediately did so, and everyone trapped there was able to emerge.

They all had to climb a ladder to get out through the hatch leading to Kendrick jokingly saying, “It’s a good thing I’m not wearing a short skirt today. God said to me, ‘Choose a long skirt, Anna.'” As she exited the entrance, she said he fell in love with everyone there and thanked the crew for helping them, bringing the video to a close with him posing with the beaming team.

Captioning the post, the 37-year-old actress wrote, “Ah, the classic “I’m behind schedule at this film festival because I had to be rescued from an elevator” excuse #TIFF22.” Given the anxiety associated with being stuck in an elevator, fans took to the comments section to acknowledge how terrifying the experience was but also praised Kendrick for lightening things up with his humor.
Several praised her, including one fan who called her a “rock star,” while another believed being stuck in an elevator with her sounded like a “dream come true.”

She revealed, “I came out of a personal experience with emotional and psychological abuse. I think my representative sent it to me because she knew what I was going through and sent it along.” Kendrick admits she gave everything to the abusive relationship but was hurt in the end. Fortunately, he was able to let go of the toxicity and see that the problem was not his.
