Aoki Lee, 20, graduated from Harvard University with degrees in classics and government last week. He recently took to Instagram to share his gratitude for influential women.
“*sigh* Congratulations to my Mother, my Grandmother, my grandmother, my sister (a badass with a BRAIN, no one knows how low she is about it!) to an international network of aunts, sisters and friends, the Evelyns, Kyokos and Kimoras, ladies who don’t always get their degrees right away but we sure did (and a few years early too!),” she began the caption on her carousel of photos and videos of the big day. .
“This one is for you; I must dedicate this degree to all the outstanding women in my life because who am I If not their daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend? Who am I without who came before and besides? We go together. Women, period.”

He ended the caption full of love and gratitude by closing this chapter of his life as he was ready to move on to the next.

After graduation, Aoki Lee tells PEOPLE that he’s ready for his “next chapter.”
“I feel grateful, proud and relieved – in that order. It was a surreal feeling to do with something that was such a big part of my life,” he said. “Now, like any other graduate, I’m heading to the next chapter.”
As for the next chapter, he already had a plan.
“I’ll be in New York modeling, writing and working at my mom’s company,” she told PEOPLE. “There are a lot of projects that I can’t wait to dive into. But it will be good to take a breath.”

Proud mom Kimora Lee also has some ideas for her daughter’s next chapter. He hopes Aoki Lee will continue with the same energy in pursuing his passion.
“I want Aoki Lee to maintain the energy and passion he has shown throughout his life,” Kimora Lee told PEOPLE. “It’s nice to have a Harvard graduate in the family, but it might be nice to have a lawyer, too.”
