He is also the president of Minimal Cinema. On 1 September 2019, he became a founding member and secretary of the PK Rosy Film Association. He has been the curator and coordinator of various international and regional film festivals. In 2020, he was appointed as a moderator at the Bengaluru International Short Film Festival (BISFF).

- In 2017, when Archana was working in the Malayalam language film ‘Pullikkaran Stara’, she was sexually assaulted on the sets of the film during the shoot. She claims a production manager named Sherin Stanley misbehaved with her. He filed a complaint with the Kerala Film Employees Federation (FEFKA) against the accused; but no action was taken. In an interview, while talking about this incident, he said,
When the FEFKA authorities heard my complaint, I felt they really understood what I was going through. I didn’t realize, at first, that they were just tactically dealing with me. I have submitted the complaint to director B Unnikrishnan. Even Sibi Malayil and Sohan Seenu Lal are also aware of the complaint. No action has been taken against the accused, and he is still working in films.”

After I joined WCC, I lost several opportunities, I was thrown out of one particular project. I stopped getting offers or calls to auditions. I don’t know if men are becoming more self-aware or scared, but they are definitely becoming more cautious when talking to women. They know that we have a collective like the WCC where we can raise our voice to bring them down.”
