‘Dancing With the Stars’ hosts a night themed around iconic music videos, where ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star Ariana Madix channels her inner Britney Spears for an iconic dance, turning fans into fans!
The reality television star danced to Britney’s iconic “I’m a Slave 4 U,” mimicking the pop icon while dancing the cha-cha. Maidx recreated Spears’ iconic music video from 2001 to a T, and fans can’t get enough.

The dance video had already gone viral when Ariana Madix belted out the number, hoping to get Britney Spears’ approval.

Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney’s younger sister, did perform on this year’s season of ‘Dancing With the Stars’, but she was eliminated early. It’s hard to say if Spears made it this far if the show would have her dancing to her sister’s iconic song, but regardless, Madix did a stellar job.

Following her stellar performance, Ariana Madix spoke about how much it meant to her to dance to Britney Spears’ song.
“As soon as I found out there was going to be a ‘Music Video Night,’ it was like, ‘There has to be Britney representation, right?’ And then you think, ‘Well, who’s going to do Britney?'” the “Vanderpump Rules” star told Page Six after the show.
“And I was like, ‘It’s me, please,’ because that’s my girl! So I’m really excited.”

To nail the choreography, Madix recalled many iconic parts from the 2001 music video.
“I was like, ‘That’s the vibe, that’s the energy,’ and that’s it,” she said of preparing for the number. Madix earned the highest score of the night, placing her at the top of the leaderboard with a combined score of 37/40 from judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and guest judge Paula Abdul.
“It feels amazing [to hear that feedback]. Cha cha is so hard … I might know how to do it [Spears choreography]but if I don’t have a good cha cha technique, they will see it, they will call me out,” he added about the judges’ feedback and scores.
“So that was the hardest thing. That’s something we’re working hard on. So for them to see it, it’s amazing.”
