An Arizona homeowner got the shock of a lifetime when he found out he had 20 rattlesnakes — including 15 baby snakes — crawling around his garage.
Snake charmer Marissa Maki arrived at a home in Mesa on Tuesday after the homeowner called for help with about three snakes she said were hiding in her garage.
Chilling footage shows the moment Maki searches for a snake around a house heater, only to find more than a dozen other snakes trying to avoid him.
“That’s a lot of snakes. I won’t lie,” Maki told the homeowner in disbelief. “This is crazy work.”
As he took the babies one by one out of the garage, the complainant could still be heard in shock at the ridiculous number of snakes.
“Lots of babies,” he said, summing up a total of 20 snakes and he and the homeowner shared a nervous laugh.
Maki added that after finding some discarded skins in the garage, it’s likely that more snakes stayed near the heater and left while others waited to do the same.
He also noted that one of the adult snakes caught was pregnant, so the homeowner would have more snakes on his hands if he waited to contact him.

Much to the homeowner’s dismay, Maki told him that the snake had most likely been to his garage before as a safe place to give birth.
“This is probably the most snakes I’ve ever caught in one call,” Maki said.
“Oh great, I’m so happy to set the record straight for you,” joked the homeowner nervously.

The relieved homeowner joked about how lucky he was to help break Rattlesnake Solution’s record for most snakes collected in one call. Rattlesnake solution
Rattlesnake Solutions has confirmed that Tuesday’s catch is a firm record for most snakes collected in a single call.
The snakes collected were identified as western diamondback rattlesnakes, some of the most common rattlesnakes found roaming the Southwest and Mexico. Snakes can grow up to six feet long.
Five adult rattlesnakes and 15 babies were released into their natural habitat in the desert, with footage showing Maki counting and releasing the snakes into safe burrows.
