Ashutosh Patki was born on Tuesday, 22 December 1987 (age 35 years; in 2022) in Mumbai. He studied at IES Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya, Mumbai. He completed his twelfth class at DG Ruparel College of Arts, Commerce and Science in Mumbai. He continued his studies in Hotel Management and Catering Technology at Kohinoor College, Mumbai. After completing his formal education, he joined the Anupam Kher Institute of Acting in Mumbai to study acting.

In 2014, Ashutosh appeared in the psychological thriller, Akalpith, in which he played the role of Vishal. He appeared in the lead role in the Marathi film Once More, which was released in 2018. He played the role of Sandeep Mishra in the romantic comedy film, Sandra Beds Sandeep. He portrayed Veer Bhai Kotwal in the biographical film Shaheed Bhai Kotwal, which was released in 2020. He appeared in the Marathi TV series Agabai Sasubai on Zee Marathi, from 2019 to 2021; he became popular for his role as Soham Prabhakar Kulkarni in this serial. She appeared in a short story, Jina, on the YouTube channel, Story Vines, in 2022.
