Ashwin Kaushal Bharti was born on February 22 in Mumbai. Ashwin attended Jamnabai Narsee School (Mumbai) and continued his studies at Mithibhai College, Mumbai. When Ashwin studied in school, he failed 5-6 times, which caused his father to withdraw his name from the school. Later, he was educated at home by a private tutor and appeared for the 10th standard examination; however, he failed the exam. According to Ashwin, when he failed his high school exams, his father told him to earn money after which he did side jobs like selling clothes and ghee.

His father, Kaushal Bharati, was a director and writer who wrote the dialogues for the films Dil Diya Dard Liya (1966), Hare Rama Hare Krishna (1971), and Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan (1978). On January 16, 1995, after suffering heart failure at the age of 87, he died. Ashwin Kaushal’s mother’s name is Bina Kaushal. Ashwin has an older sister named Tanushree Kaushal, who is an actress.

In 2014, he appeared as a metro passenger in the Bollywood film ‘PK.’

Because of this, he suffers mentally. He began to see ghosts and lack sleep. This gave Ashwin Kaushal a break from writing, but unfortunately, he also stopped getting opportunities.
