Public jail records reveal former NFL player Austin Seferian-Jenkins was arrested in Washington State. He was arrested Friday by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office on two counts, one count of felony threats of harassment, domestic violence or threats to kill; and one count of misdemeanor assault and domestic violence.
The NFL player was reportedly booked shortly after 9pm local time and was reportedly being held without bail, jail records revealed. It is still unclear what led to his arrest and a court date has yet to be set.
But, this is not the first time he went to jail. Austin was charged with three DUI charges in a March 2020 DUI arrest. Prior to that, he was arrested for DUI in 2016 and 2013. Seferian-Jenkins was also charged with civil violations for speeding and improper lane changes but was arraigned on the charges on March 11, 2020.
His arrest in 2016 cost him his contract with the Buccaneers. Meanwhile, he was suspended for the first two games of the 2017 season due to a DUI.
