Bachelor mass-suing exes over posts on ‘Are We Dating the Same Guy’ Facebook page is facing tax fraud charges

He should put his money where his mouth is.

The Chicago man is suing his ex-dates for $75 million after they posted negative comments about their relationship with him on Facebook while battling a tax fraud case.

Nikko D’Ambrosio, 32, is accused of filing at least two false tax returns, both claiming he spent excessive amounts on expenses and charity while earning wages well below the poverty level, according to court documents filed in May 2023.

He first tried the scheme in 2020, when he claimed he spent $158,528 in expenses over the year and gave another $29,775 in gifts to charity – with prosecutors alleging D’Ambrosio knew he spent “less than that amount.”

That year, he claimed just $4,443 in taxable income, records show.

D’Ambrosio allegedly made similar lies the following year, this time claiming $252,625 in expenses, $34,725 in charitable gifts and $14,874 in taxable income.

He has appeared in federal court every day in January on the criminal charges — including the day he filed a lawsuit against dozens of women, claiming he was the victim of doxxing and an invasion of privacy.

The women posted negative comments about their time with D’Ambrosio on the private Facebook group “Are We Dating The Same Guy.”

Some exes claimed he was “very clingy” and ghostly, while others said he was a violent repeat offender who had a bad reputation on the site.

“He was stationed here before. The poster said he sent her a lot of texts calling her name because she didn’t want to spend the night with him,” one woman wrote.

D’Ambrosio claims all the women are spewing lies in an attempt to smear his reputation.

She filed suit on January 11 against 27 named women, including the group’s moderator, as well as several Jane Does and various parts of Facebook’s parent company, Meta, for $75 million in damages.

“The defendants published their outrageous, cruel and malicious lies about the plaintiff with the knowledge that the statements were false or with reckless disregard as [to] whether it is true or not,” his complaint states.

“[Their] The misconduct is so outrageous in nature and so extreme in its degree that it goes beyond all possible bounds of decency and should be regarded as cruel and totally intolerable in civilized society.”
