Susie Evans, the former partner of this season’s leading man, Clayton Echard, has shown the world exactly who she is through her blog, “Susie Was Like” before her Bachelor days! When she’s not spending time working as a wedding videographer, Evans continues to give the internet a glimpse into her life through her blog posts!

Evans, who split from Echard last fall, gave her fans some insight into her relationship with food and her past eating habits in a new blog post.

Evans has candidly addressed how her eating habits have affected her in the past, and she shares the foods and recipes that have helped her usher in a new era of peaceful food enjoyment.

Evans Talks About Her Struggles With Body Image

Earlier this year, Evans discussed the practice of intuitive eating on her blog, while sitting down with a health coach and Raw Beauty co. founder Erin Treloar for an interview.

The former Miss Virginia pageant prefaced her interview with Treloar with some insight into her personal relationship with eating and food.

She also revealed some insight into how she was able to overcome her toxic and cyclical relationship with eating.

“I feel blessed to have overcome many of these problematic perspectives through years of help, education, open conversations and never giving up on myself,” Evans continued. “The biggest lesson I’ve learned through my journey of self-love and having a better relationship with food is that it has nothing to do with control or perfection but everything to do with changing my mindset. Of course, from time to time, I still struggle to love and accept my body as it is but the goal is not perfection, but growing to love and accept myself more and more every day.”

Former ‘Bachelor’ Babe Describes Her Eating Preferences Are Framed Around Comfort

With newfound room to figure out what types of foods and treats work best for her, Evans is looking at and sharing recipes that work for her!

Along with revealing some of her favorite foods and recipes that she feels “helps” her, Evans gives the secret behind how she prefers to live her life; he prioritizes and is attracted to the elements in life that make him feel happy.

He wrote, “I like to believe in my core, I’m pretty simple and a lot of my lifestyle depends on ease and joy. However, that hunger for joy has led me to various wild experiences that shape my lifestyle today. It’s also has led me to be a very busy woman, I feel like I could be the poster child for ‘girls on the go!’ so when it comes to fueling my lifestyle, preparation is key! At the beginning of my week, I try to set myself up for success. Stock up my kitchen and fridge with things that make my life easier because like I mentioned earlier, I am a comfortable woman.”
